Queens Baton is not a Torch.....

Majority mistaken  Queens Baton relay of Commonwealth Games  as another torch relay, Coz the Baton holding by runners vertically to symbolize the Olympic Torch. The baton contains the Queen's hand-written message to the Commonwealth and will visit all 70 competing nations and territories over the next 288 days this year. The first baton bearer this years relay was Alan Wells, the Scottish sprinter who won gold in the men's 100m at the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games. The Queen entrusts the baton to the first relay runner. At the Opening Ceremony of the Games, the final relay runner hands the baton back to the Queen or her representative, who reads the message aloud to officially open the Games. However, I decided to seek clarifications from  "Queens Baton Relay" committee. Me:  Many people mistaken this as the torch of Commonwealth Games.. Is this a torch ?  Can someone use it as a torch ? Is this the one use to light Commonwealth Games flame?  I asked thos
